First of all, if you're new here and you intend to join, go right ahead! This group automatically accepts members. However, if you want a role such as a Contributor or Co-Founder, you'll have to get my approval first.
For all new members, welcome!
Now for a little thing about submitting your artwork to the group. The previous Founder has stated a simple criteria in the Blog entry above, but that was while this group was new and still needed volume to fill it up. While I still appreciate all forms of art being submitted to this group, I realise that we'll need some more rules soon to ensure that it's great for everyone!
A reform will be happening soon in a future Blog entry which I shall make, but for now here are a few soon-to-be-written rules for you to take note of:
PRIME RULE: It must clearly be related to Brave Frontier.
1. Mature content stuff is alright, as long as they do not break DeviantArt's rules and have the appropriate filter on them.
2. OCs are allowed, as long as they are with at least one canon character. Do not show your hate for other OCs. While I understand that Mary Sues exist and can be understandably annoying, what we are looking at here is the art of a Brave Frontier character. The bare minimum is the first sentence.
3. Shipping/pairing of all kinds is allowed. (I mean, hey, I've been submitting Aisha x Amy works to this group.) If you disagree with the ship/pairing or it is your NOTP, please be respectful and do not attack the artist/author of the ship.
4. Anything that is of a media that Brave Frontier has collaborated with is allowed, as long as it includes one canon Brave Frontier character. Crossovers are also allowed, as long as there is one canon Brave Frontier character. For example, a King of Fighters chracter with a Brave Frontier chracter will be allowed. A Vocaloid alone will not be allowed.
5. On the topic of characters and stuff from other medias outside of Brave Frontier: Fan-Unit style must explicitly be in the Brave Frontier Unit art style to be permitted, but this is as a whole, discouraged.
Now, I realise that I did not enforce these rules a lot back in the day, but that was because I was following the rules stated in the initial Blog entry, which literally states that as long as the art is your own, it is okay.
These will be soft-enforced, as some may have noticed by now if your work has been declined before. But once I have written them into a group Blog entry, expect them to be enforced.
